1973
The beginning
In early 1973, in Denver, Colorado, real estate broker Dave Liniger was dissatisfied with the sales model and lack of training in the industry, where talent was wasted and others were exalted without any special expertise.
So, with just a notebook and a pen, an idea and an action plan to resolve the situation emerged: RE/MAX.

Expansion - First decade, first leaps
After successfully introducing RE/MAX to Canada, visionary leaders Frank Polzler and Walter Schneider boldly embarked on a transatlantic mission to bring the brand's revolutionary concept to Europe. Spain was the first country in Europe, and expansion was rapid across many countries across the continent.
